Poly V-Belts

Construction

  • Polycotton fabric frictioned with Polychloroprene rubber.
  • Cushion rubber to stretch at the belt bend.
  • Tension member to carry power and minimise stretch.
  • Base rubber to support cords evenly and compress as the belt bends.

Application Features

  • Improved transmission ratio (Poly-V 1:60 vs. V-belt 1:20)
  • Reduced diameters can be used.
  • Reverse bend application.
  • Reduced belt width for a given geometry and similar power transfer.
  • Provide a wide selection of speed ranges.

Multi Pull

Multi-pull Poly-V belts have higher-power carrying capacity than conventional V-belts. Single flexible low stretch belt drive eliminates the need for multiple/matched set belts.
